第 4 课，我们用一张思维导图总结了刷牙过程中涉及到的名词：
这一节我们在这些名词的基础上，学习刷牙的动作，两份思维导图按照文末方式领取。
建议大家将思维导图打印出来，给孩子刷牙的时候随时可以看。
小鱼妈将刷牙的过程拆解为以下四部分，其中第 2 部分相对简单且使用频率高，大家重点 记忆。

- 刷好以后漱口、洗牙刷等
对于小宝宝，妈妈可以一边给宝宝刷牙一边描述动作，大一点的宝宝，妈妈可以在给宝宝示 范刷牙或宝宝自己刷牙的时候，来说这些句子。
下面我们就来详细讲解：
1. 刷前准备
Step 1 : 漱口杯里接满水
Fill up your rinse cup.
★ fill up: 装满，填满
扩展：
给汽车加油也可以用 fill up:
We'd better first fill up the car with petrol at the petrol station.
我们最好先到加油站去给汽车加满汽油。
Step 2 : 往牙刷上挤一点牙膏
下面两种说法都是可以的：
（1）Squeeze some toothpaste onto your toothbrush.
（2）Put some toothpaste on your toothbrush.
★ Squeeze: 动词，表示挤、捏的动作
扩展：He squeezed the last bit toothpaste out.他挤出最后一点牙膏。
Step 3 : 把牙刷打湿
Get your toothbrush wet.
Step 4：先漱漱口
Rinse your mouth.
★ rinse: 动词，表示冲洗、漂洗。
例句：
Don't just rinse the bottles.Wash them out carefully.
别只涮涮瓶子, 要仔细地洗洗里面。
另外一个表示漱口的动词：gargle
更倾向于含一口水，把头仰起来，在喉咙里发出咕噜咕噜声音的那种漱口。
2.刷的过程
Step 1: 张开嘴巴
Open your mouth.
Step 2: 先刷上牙，再刷下牙
Brush the top teeth first and then the bottom teeth.
Step 3: 上下移动牙刷，即上刷刷、下刷刷
Brush your teeth up and down.
★ Up and down 表示上上下下
例句：The old bus jogged up and down.
那辆旧公共汽车一上一下地颠簸着行驶。
Step 4: 转着圈移动牙刷，即转圈刷
Brush your teeth round and round.
★ round and round 表示转圈
在童谣 The Wheels On the Bus 里面也出现过，
The wheels on the bus go round and round.
巴士上的车轮转啊转。
Step 5: 先刷前面的牙
Brush the front of your teeth first.
Step 6: 再刷后面的牙
Then brush the back of your teeth.
Step 7: 刷刷牙齿的内侧
Brush the inside of your teeth.
★ inside: 里面、内部
The doors were locked from the inside.
门从里面锁住了。
3. 边刷边提醒
1. 别咽牙膏
Don't swallow the toothpaste.
★ Swallow: 吞咽
Polly took a bite of the apple, chewed, and swallowed.
波莉咬了一口那个苹果，嚼了嚼吞了下去。
2. 尽量别闭嘴
Try not to close your mouth.
★ try to do sth. 尽力做某事
例句：
We should try to acquire good habits.
我们应该努力养成良好的习惯。
3. 别咬牙刷
Don't bite your toothbrush.
★bite: 作动词，指用牙齿钳住或切断；作名词，表示一口；
例句：
He took another bite of apple.
他又咬了一口苹果。
另外孩子吃饭吃到最后一口，可以说： last bite
让孩子再吃一口，可以说：one more bite
4. 嘴要张大
Open your mouth wide.
5. 每天至少刷两次牙
Brush your teeth at least twice a day.
★ at least: 至少
例句：
I visit my grandmother at least once a year.
我每年至少要去看望祖母一次。
6. 至少刷两分钟
Brush for at least 2 minutes.
7. 认真刷牙可以保持牙齿清洁健康
Brush your teeth carefully to keep them clean and healthy.
★ keep: 保持、继续，后面可以加动名词或形容词
例句：
1. I keep thinking back to school.
我老回忆起在学校的日子。
2. Keep calm！
保持冷静！
4. 刷好以后
Step 1: 刷好了，要记得夸奖孩子
Great! We are done.
★ 跟孩子一起搭好积木，也可以用这句话表扬孩子。
Step 2: 把牙膏吐了
Spit out the toothpaste.
★ spit: 吐出
Step 3: 漱口
Rinse your mouth.
Step 4: 涮涮牙刷
Rinse your toothbrush.
Step 5：把水倒掉
Pour out the water.
★ pour: 倒，倾泻
例句：
The chimney was pouring out black smoke.
烟囱里冒出滚滚黑烟。
